We all love old Hollywood movie star hair and makeup. So glamoures!!! Today i will talk about how to create a beautiful 1950′s movie star makeup. Ready?
Step 1 (Prep and Prime)
Use an exfoliator for your face and lips. (You can also brush your lips when you brush your teeth. Use a soft brush) Use a moisturizer to condition your skin. Don’t forget to use a color correcting primer!
Step 2 (Foundation)
Use a matching color semi matte foundation. After that use a translucent powder your face to make the look more matte. This also helps to contour better.
Step 3 (Sculpt)
Use a sculpting kit to contour and highlite. Contour your jaw line, cheek bones, your nose. Highlite the bridge of your nose, underneath your brows and the mid part of your face.
Step 4 (Eye Makeup)
Pick a shimmery vanilla color eye shadow all over the eye lid. When you are done, use a taupe color eyeshadow on your crease line. (Use a pancil brush)
Remember they used liquid eye liner in 1950′s… You can also use a gel eyeliner or a liquid liner. If you don’t have both don’t worry! You can use your black pencil eye liner. Don’t forget to sharpen it before use…Create wings on the outer corner of your eyes. Curl your lashes than apply natural looking false lashes. Apply a mascara to blend them together.
Step 5 (Lips)
Use a red lip liner and lip stick. When you line the lips make sure that you exagerate the upper lips.
Step 6 (cheeks)
Give a rosy glow to your cheeks.
